Franck Lab receives $4.75M grant from the Office of Naval Research to develop a predictive framework
The Franck Lab in collaboration with Team Wendy, and researchers at Brown, Drexel and Sandia National Labs is setting out to develop a predictive framework for traumatic brain injuries. By understanding how impact forces alter the biological response of cells in the brain the goal is to utilize this information to inform the development of next generation head protection and brain injury evaluation standards.
