THE FRANCK LAB

Mark graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a B.S. in Neuroscience and Behavior in 2013. He is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Biomedical Engineering at Brown, and joined the Franck Lab in 2013. 

 

Mark’s research focuses on Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and the cellular mechanisms involved in it. Specifically his works aims to investigate potential neuroprotective effects of mild hypothermia on TBI. 
 

He is also involved in developing physiologically relevant, 3D in vitro scaffolds with well-defined material characteristics for use in TBI research.
