THE FRANCK LAB

Jialiang Tao received his B.S in Engineering Mechanics from Harbin Institute of Technology in 2016. He is currently a Masters student in Solid Mechanics at Brown, and joined the Franck Lab in 2016.

Jialiang is involved in experimentally studying soft materials characterization. He is developing a technique to research impact and shock absorption properties of foams. He is also interested in mechanical design and structure analysis related to experimental mechanics.
