Dan graduated from Brown University with an A.B. in Health and Human Biology with a focus in Brain and Behavior. He is currently a Sc.M. candidate in Biotechnology at Brown, and joined the Franck Lab in 2017.
Dan’s research focuses on Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and the cellular mechanisms involved in it. Specifically his works aims to investigate potential neuroprotective effects of mild hypothermia on TBI.
He is also involved in developing physiologically relevant, 3D in vitro scaffolds with well-defined material characteristics for use in TBI research.
